I subscribe to multiple different designer email lists. Does anyone else do that? Even though I can’t afford to buy any of the beautiful designer clothes, I still enjoy seeing pictures of the new collections as they are released. My favorites emails are from J.Crew, Tory Burch, Nordstrom and Michael Kors. The photography is always incredible along with the dreamy clothes.

Here is a recent ad I received in my email from Michael Kors. Notice the yellow again : )

I LOVE the Michael Kors models. They make such good looking couples!

Did I tell you my favorite color is gold yet? Well, it is. I have always loved gold and am beyond happy that is has become so popular!! Honestly, I think yellow has gained popularity as a way to incorporate more gold. Due to its neutrality, gold can be worn with any color. Yellow has a special way of framing gold accents though.

Fun fact: I am also a Miss America fan. My girl friends and I watch it every year! Generally the girl who wins is wearing a white gown. However, Caressa Cameron wore a bright yellow gown, was crowned Miss America 2010 and looked incredible. There is something wonderful about the dark complexion, bright yellow combo that immediately takes your breath away.
